热除氧作用的好坏，一方面决定于给水加热的程度；另一方面决定于除氧器的结构特性。为了到达满足的除氧作用，对除氧器结构的基本要求如下：
on the one hand, the effect of thermal deaeration depends on the degree of water heating; on the other hand, it depends on the structural characteristics of deaerator. in order to meet the deoxygenation function, the basic requirements for the deaerator structure are as follows:
(1)为促进传热和传质，需求有足够大的汽水触摸面积，须把要除氧的给水在除氧器内均匀地分散成细水柱或雾状水滴。
(1) in order to promote heat transfer and mass transfer, the demand for large enough water touch area is required, and the water supply to be deaerated is evenly dispersed into a fine water column or mist like water in the deaerator.
(2)加热蒸汽于须除氧的水一般逆向活动，这样可使给水能充沛加热到工作压力下的饱满温度。并造成水汽的一切触摸点都构成的不平衡压差，利于气体分出。一起，逆向活动有助于敏捷排走分出的气体。
(2) the water heated by the steam is generally reversed in the deoxygenated water, so that the water supply can be adequately heated to the full temperature under working pressure. and all the touching points of water vapor constitute the largest imbalance pressure difference, which is conducive to gas separation. together, reverse activities can help agile exhaust gas.
(3)除氧器设有排汽孔，使用部分蒸汽将分出的气体带着排出。
(3) the deaerator is equipped with exhaust holes and uses some steam to discharge the separated gases.
(4)选用有强化深度的除氧办法。如削减这阶段水的表面张力，使水呈紊流状况；或选用蒸汽在水中鼓泡等。
(4) choose the method of deoxidization with enhanced depth. such as reducing the surface tension of this stage of water, so that the water is turbulent, or choose steam in water bubbling.
(5)除氧器的各个组成元件应该巩固、经用、防腐蚀，在运转中部应发作扭曲变形、损坏、掉落等现象。
